BioAlright, well to start off my name is Christine, but what is in a name anyways?
I currently reside in suburban hell, a retirement community and one of the most artificial towns I have had the misfortune in passing by, Palm Coast, Florida. My motto for this "city" is "Palm Coast...The landscape is artificial and so are the people". If you have ever heard anyone else say this..well then they stole it from me, ha. Anyways I am a very creative girl and i believe that I see the world differently then the average person. I see the angst, anger,filth,love,hate,sin,beauty, aggression and empathy in everything. I look at things for more then what they just appear to be. I read into nearly everything, trying to find the hidden meanings behind everything, cause its true, most people don't say what they mean, they just give you clues. I am an ARTIST. I create constantly whether it's drawings, paintings, collages, clothes, hair styles, make up designs, writing, film or pretty much anything else...it is my PASSION. Another passion of mine is punk. I would die for that subculture. I love the state of mind/ideals/beliefs that go into the punk scene, the lifestyle, the attitude, and the music. Punk IS NOT dead, so don't even bother arguing the point. I will just use this quote on you.."If Punk Is Dead, Then I'm A Walking Corpse". I'm sorry but i believe people who believe punk is dead are ignorant...how can you say something is dead, when there are still thousands and thousands of punks still contributing to the punk subculture...the music is still being created, the life style is still being pursued. Of course punk rock isn't the same thing as it was back in 77 but its evolved not died! Of course there are "posers" and "wannabes" who claim punk when they are really about has punk rock as Britney Spears or The United States government, but thats all they are..POSERS...and just cause they exist doesn't mean the scene is dieing. Trust me the DIY ethic is still very much a live and its not going ANYWHERE. Alright well i guess I'll save the rest of the ranting for the entries.
